What to do when the internet is down
The internet is an integral part of life: work, study, communication, shopping. So when the connection suddenly drops, you want it back as soon as possible. More than half of our subscribers' issues are solved in a minute or two without a call – check these common causes first.
1. Unpaid services
The simplest and most common cause. Top up your account in any convenient way or activate the free "Credit mode" service in the personal account – the connection resumes within minutes.
2. The Wi-Fi router froze
Any equipment occasionally fails – due to power surges or overheating. Unplug the router, wait 1-2 minutes and plug it back in. In most cases that is enough.
3. Wrong router settings
Our network uses modern DHCP authorization – no logins or passwords needed. If you replaced your router, press "Register new equipment" in the personal account. And remember to set a Wi-Fi password with reliable WPA2 or WPA3 encryption.
4. A problem with a specific device
Test the internet on another device. If it works there, the cause is in the problematic device: possibly viruses or, conversely, an antivirus with traffic filtering. Disable the antivirus temporarily to check.
5. A technical failure on the provider's side
It happens rarely, but nobody is insured against failures. Our 24/7 monitoring system usually detects the problem before your call, and we are already fixing it. If the outage is our fault, the repair is always free for subscribers.
